I love to paint! What joy! It is an adventure at my fingertips. On a good day, bad day, or ho-hum day, when I prepare my palette, brushes, and paper or canvas, I start to smile, anticipating the joyous time to follow. An Eldorado sunset, chamisa blooming in fall, the Rio Chama, Rocky Mountains, or my beloved Pecos National Park, what will today’s adventure be? Like meditation, painting takes me to a higher level of thinking and appreciation of life’s wonders. The outcome matters not, for it is the journey, the thinking, the planning, and the pleasure of taking the time to
do what I love.
